Preparation

  • Invite participants to find a comfortable position in a quiet space.

  • Drawing paper and colored pencils.

 

Introduction (10 minutes)

Guide participants through a brief body scan, encouraging awareness of sensations or memories in each area.

 

Instructions

  1. Invite participants to draw a portrait of their body based on experiences and memories, not appearance. Encourage the use of symbols, colors, and words to represent emotions or physical sensations tied to their body’s journey (25 minutes).

  2. While drawing, offer these prompts:

  3. What is the most important part of your body to you?

  4. What is the strongest or most flexible part of your body?

  5. Which part of your body has helped you through challenges?

  6. What does your body do effortlessly that you’re thankful for?

  7. What part of your body makes you feel confident?

 

Wrap-up

Allow participants to share their portraits and the stories or memories behind them.
